Brubecks has always been a family story.
Jamie met his Irish wife, Jen, while working in London, and in 1996 they moved to Australia together. After years of long hours and shift work, starting a family changed their priorities. They wanted to be more present for their children — and in 2000, a small dip business became the beginning of Brubecks.
The business and the family grew together, and the two have been intertwined ever since.
In 2025, Jen returned to Brubecks, bringing her experience as a Registered Nurse and in quality, governance and training into the Governance & Innovation role. Alongside leading staff training and development, Jen has helped expand Brubecks into Support at Home, CHSP and the NDIS, including establishing the Brubecks Workplace Skills Program, giving NDIS participants the opportunity to build skills, confidence and experience in a real workplace.
Their three sons have grown up with Brubecks but are forging paths of their own. Ronan combines his passion for soccer training and development with a merchandising and sales role at Brubecks. Ciaran, an apprentice electrician, has been involved in Brubecks’ recent factory developments, while Luca, once a Brubecks delivery driver, is now pursuing his passion for environmental science.
They may be following different paths, but Brubecks has been part of their lives since birth — and they remain very much part of its story.
